Are we free ?
There is nothing like freedom ! It is simply an imagination. Human life is full of adjustments. We try to escape from this adjustments in the name of freedom. In a society we have controls. In family we have controls. Life is full of controls. How do you difine freedom and to what extent ?

Sir...In my opinion, freedom means freeness of thoughts and actions. In one way you are abosolutely right...its just an imagination or illussion. A human cannot be fully free from the bondages which he/ his race created himself/themself. But elusion cannot be seen as freedom. Hence it is another subject.
ReplyDeleteIt is true that life is full of adjustments, controls and numerous rules to follow. All created himself for the welfare of himself and for his gotra/society. No human being will prefer a lawless/rule less society around him.
The other interesting fact is that human always want to get ruled himself in many way. He do not need full freedom in his life. he cant live like animals or other living things in this nature. He is addicted to his comforts, peace of mind and security. He always want to get loved, cared, supported and protected by others.
That may be the concept to create God by human being. The concept of God is totally human made as per his imaginations, intutions and illusions. He want to surrender his ego somewhere else. He want to obey someone in his life and He want to get pampered by others.
Our established traditional institutions are made for the welfare of human being and his soceity. It controls him and give so much resposnibilities as he himself a part of it.
The interesting fact is when human is a perfect creater, same time he want to reject many things which already got established around himself. Some he want to obey and some he want to object. To justify the action or thought, he always take the support of the concept freedom. Huaman have a tendency to get rid of those things which he find discomfort.
When he fight against it or hide from it, he justify it as freedom.
Secondly, in this universe every thing have two sides. So if there is control, then there must be freedom too. We can say the absence of control can be called freedom. There is no particular freedom exisisting in this universe.
